Local Study - Skipton Castle (I'm based in Bradford)
Northern Ireland

It would be quite handy for people to know who else teaches the same syllabus, works in the same area etc. Could lead to lots of handy sharing of information, ideas and maybe even cut down on some of the workload - less duplication of work/ effort etc...

I teach Edxcel Modern World

Year 10: War to End all Wars & USA: Depression and the New Deal
Coursework: Home Front in WWI
Year 11: Superpower Relations & USA: Divided Union
Coursework: Vietnam

Don't currently teach Year 11 aside from the Entry Level certificate though.

Cambridge International GCSE

Pretty much the same as their normal but with less content (because our exam season begins in May?)

School just started offering History GCSE as option - previously Humanities was compulsory. History gets most take-up - Current Y10 3 groups Geog 1 group Humanities 2 groups

The USA 1945 to the present (this is very popular as it includes foreign policy up to the deadline of the coursework - that kept them busy this year!)
and our Local study is the development of tourism in Victorian Douglas.
