Just as a gentle prod before the summer arrives... what ideas have people tried out since SHP?

I've been trying to finish reading the Morebath book, have done one and a half of my feet ideas and been coming up with/trying to think of exciting English dept enquiry questions... All while keeping a close eye on the Tour De France!

Crikey - don't want anyone getting into trouble. Thus make sure you...

> Work out your plan, and time your steps
> Find the right people to work with (good advice from Tony; who is your most T&L loving SLT member? Ask what you can do to help them/etc)
> Start as small as the situation needs and build up a head of steam until you are irresistable
> Use evidence to support your points - especially from the students
> Keep that passion!

Don

;)

I'd like to thank Don for being willing to do 'his bit' as a senior leader on this.

For the sake of my / Don's sanity I won't publicise (just yet) what I've started talking to members of my new SLT about (especially as Don is one of them!) It WILL be good and very funny though....
