I'm thinking of setting up some online timelines that we can reference during our courses in school. I've come across dipity, has anyone used this or can you recommend any other websites that allow you to create an interective timeline.

(I'll just talk to myself then  ).

I've now created a GCSE Cold War Timeline. All the major events are on it, with descriptions written by students). If anyone wants to have a look just PM me and I'll give you my username and password (as long as don't change anything!)

Fantastic timeline Don...

Really easy to use, and navigate through...gives just the right amount of information, and students will see the big picture from the timeline.

Thanks for sharing :flowers:

Hi Dom
The website looks great. How can I find your timeline on there?

Dom
Thanks for letting me have a look, its amazing! But guess what...oh yes its blocked at work so I can't use it with my classes. I will keep asking for it to be unblocked as this is a fabulous resource.

Thanks for that.

So far two or three people have asked for the username and password. Please feel free to add any events and dates to the timeline, I'm more than happy for it to develop as a sort of cross-school timeline. My username and password won't open anything else on the internet and I only have that timeline on the website (although I am thinking of adding a timeline for lower school when I get the time).
