This site looks like it will be very handy for people teaching Medicine through time. It has accessible overviews of different themes and a large collection of visual sources that could be pretty handy for teachers.

Was at science museum last week and was trying to get some pics of exhibits and displays, so this will come in handy!

Just to add to earlier comment - this has been an invaluable source over the last few weeks - so I thought I'd give some practical application ideas:

The War & Medicine interactive resource is brilliant for our Yr 10s preparing for OCR's Jan source paper on Surgery (yes, 19th Century but we're setting a context!)- although some squeamish kids had to look away!

I'm also using the Roman artefact info & pics for a lesson on 'Were the Romans any better than the Greeks?'
AND the Asclepion interactive resource was great for students to use as a recap tool to explain to the class how it represented Greek natural & supernatural beliefs

And we're only in the Ancient World section...!
