I have an interview on Monday (2nd Nov) which I am very nervous/excited about! Any advice/anyone who can tell me what to expect?? I have to give a presentation, do a written task and then an individual interview.
Thanks,
Meg

Presumably for history?
Be yourself, let you enthususiam for teaching and working with chldren shine through. Have a clear idea of why you want to teach, and any experience you have or are willing to get before the PGCE starts.
As far as the ppt goes - as with any ppt, less is better, don't cram each slide with all the words you are going to say - the main points and talk around them.
Think about why we teach history - what is the point of it - there are numerous threads on this website to help you justify that, think about whether its adds to our collective identity - Britishness?? (pet project of one of the tutors!)
With the written task I am assuming that they will also be checking that you can write! Remember the basics, sentences, paragraphs, spelling, ideas coherent and justified with reasons and evidence, clear conclusion etc
All the best with it
Let us know how it goes
