Dave, there will also be a Flashmeeting so you can watch from the comfort of Ty Stacey.

We already have two people signed up to give presentations at the TeachMeet. If you just want to enjoy the experience at the conference, sign up in the 'Enthusiastic Lurker' section on the wiki so we have some idea about numbers for drinks/snacks...

We can certainly do something but really want other people to have the opportunity to present their ideas. Still early doors and once the conference programme is finished and information about the conference is sent out (alongside something about TeachMeet) we should have a few more.

Would be great to see you there if you can make it - you can even do a 2 or 7 minute presentation on your active learning activity at the TeachMeet!

Nick there is nothing I would like more than to get up there!

But if I pay for myself it is half of my plane fare to Vancouver in the summer - 3 days in Leeds of 2 weeks in Canada?????? Hmmmm that one is not hard.

Will see what I can do in school!

Woop! Just spoken to the principle designate for the academy opening in September (to replace the current school). Theyre paying for two of us to come to SHP. Made my day! :teacher:

Two from my place coming... One of us paid for from sixth form funds and one from the school's CPD budget.

Not bad; just need to figure out a way of getting a third person there now....Surely there's some pot of money that I can dip my sticky fingers into!

Its not who I am but what I do which defines me...

Right - going to put a bid in. I expect to get rejected but... my arguments might help if I can identify from the workshops some key areas that I need to work on... has anybody got a definitive list of the 30 workshops because the ones on the website don't tick many boxes???
