So, when can we expect the coursework tasks for this year then?!

Patience is a virtue, virtue is a grace, and OCR are a bleeding waste of space.

Can I just apologise for my comments earlier in the thread - they don't apply to this spec! My comments were made in light of a meeting of the spec B coursework. What I was advised, however, was valid as it was what I was told.Sorry about the confusion.

I am sure you will all be delighted to hear that the Investigations and Interpretations Tasks are now online. You can get to them here. To be fair to OCR this is exactly the same date as they published them last year. I am pleased to see that my favourite Gladstone and Disraeli topic is still there.

Hello!

Just revisiting this thread as a cunning way of engineering a break from marking this year's crop of investigations!

:grog: <--- will sink a virtual one of these when they're all finished :)

Anyone with me?

We're moderating the investigations piece at the moment - and it's quite labour intensive eh?!

At least I don't have to moderate them as I just mark the lot myself. The students just seem to take an age to get the work done. I'll be collecting all of mine in a couple of weeks and will mark them over the holiday. Can't wait!

yes, I seem to have spent an immesurable amount of time watching kids trail through books amd repeat their favourite question: " where will I find a quote from a historian saying 'this incredibly specific thing'? " is still being met by my answer: "in one of those books".
It's starting to wear thin for both of us :(

final drafts coming in over the next few weeks though....
