Thanks Dave. I tried a wee experiment of my own by setting up a file and inviting myself via my work email address and also a couple of work colleagues. Do invitees have to have Dropbox accounts in oder to gain access via the invitation? My invitation to myself seemed to give access to other dropbox folders via the parent folder button. I take it this would not be he case for other invitees? That is, they would only have access to files in their own Dropbox?

Basically anyone invited to the crime and punishment folder only has access to the crime and punishment folder and any other folders that they have either set up OR are members of. Only I can invite people to this folder. (or at least I hope only I can!) You do have to sign up to dropbox BUT you don't have to download their software and can still upload/ download materials.
I have plans for a Key Stage 3 folder but think I'd need a lot of spare space to accommodate all of the materials I've been given/ stolen/ created over the years and I'm not sure whether dropbox is really that suitable. It's in my things to do pile...

Thanks Dave. Just checking. I have the option of using a group account on GLOW (no puke emoticon on here!) but the Dropbox is another option.
