I am currently trying to plan revision for year 11's studying edexcel medicine through time.
Does anyone have any advice/sample resources on how I can engage and motivate the pupils for the last month or so as they are beginning to lose interest in school and so making revision very difficult. This is the first time I have taught SHP Medicine Through Time and it's a sixth month maternity cover I am currently on so have not taught the entire content.
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah
PM me your email and I'll send you a few items...
Tend to find rehearsing exam questions (of various types) allows for skills building and content reinforcement.
AfL using timed answers (1.5 mins per mark...)

For revising the big picture and getting them to understand the relationship between different factors etc you could use some of Ian Dawson's active learning ideas - on this site.
There are a collection of online revision activities and downloadable tasks for the Edexcel course on this page of my medicine site.
