Afternoon all, a new member here, so apologies for any classic mistakes or making a forum based faux pas!
I am an NQT and am looking at doing a few lessons on the miners strike with my year 9s. I teach in South Yorkshire and feel it would benefit some of the kids to delve into such a major event in their local history. We dont have too long, maybe 4 lessons. I have seen there is a thread from a few years back about doing a whole SOL on it, and although I dont need that much and would feel bad pinching that much, if anyone has any general resources, ideas, etc I would really appreciate that!
Cheers
Tom
