Hey guys.
I'm going into Southampton university in September, to teach their History PGCE-ers for the day on 'How to teach Significance in an engaging and fun way' and thought I would see if any of you wonderful people had any particularly good ideas that I could include. I've got all the obvious ones (5 R's, G.R.E.A.T, Diamond 9 etc) but I'm looking for anything that’s a bit wacky and off the wall, that they perhaps won’t see/hear about in lessons/through reading teaching history. Its at an early stage in the course, so I want to give them some zany ideas to try in their first placements (before jobs, training documents and essays fill up their brain!) If anyone has anything they thing would be useful, I’d be very grateful.
Ta very much
Chris
