Hi all,

My friend is Curriculum Development Manager for the FSC and they are trying to set up History related field trips; she has asked for help with the following areas and any responses would be helpful:

• The potential for links between specifications and first hand learning opportunities
• How the FSC could market these trips to schools
• How Learning Outside the Classroom could help History students to develop their potential in GCSE Controlled Assessment and GCE coursework
• How the recommendations of the Dfe Expert Panel Review will affect the content of GCSE History specifically the idea of a 3 year GCSE and of a compulsory Humanities or Histor/Geography combined
