Once the last one (MSN) was closed, this lad ran off shouting "I've got Miss's e-mail address! Quick - give me a pen!!"

It's such a hard one Rachel. I've been reading emails in my lunchtime and kids have come into the room so I've had to minimise the screen so they don't see my address too. Some of my year 9 girls know that I use msn to talk to my friends and family, so typed in my name to see what addresses they could find. Appt they have come up with pages of suggestions and they keep saying that they will email them all to find out which one is mine. In some respects this is nice, as they want to chat to me after school hours, but in other respects it isn't as it's my personal time. Kids who do this maliciously though need dealing with. I can't believe one had the cheek to even email you. I hope that their parents were contacted and that the pupil is suitably dealt with.
Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like nobody's watching.

:D :D :D

I know that this thread is sort of half-officially closed, but I had to add this final one.

I did it!

I've just had the letter from Durham:

I am pleased to tell you that the examiners have recommended that you be admitted to the degree of Postgraduate Certificate of Education (Secondary) of this University.

It was worth it!! :D

Big congratulations to everyone else who's made it through this year. Harder than we all though possible, but that which does not kill us only serves to make us stronger! Let's get out there and teach!

Rachel. (now officially a :teacher: !!)
