I was making some powerpoints and thinking about soundtracks for particular topics. If I saved the ppt.s and turned them into movies I could vodcast them but I'd like some soundtracks to play along with them

Any ideas

Jagged little pill - Fight against Infectious Diseases
Spirit in the sky - Medieval Religion/Religion in Medicine
House of Pain - 19th century Surgery
Sisters are doing it for themselves - Women in Medicine

Any others???

Just a quick scan through my iTunes collection...
  • Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At (trephining)
  • Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive (multiple purposes!)
  • Bee Gees - Tragedy ("when the feeling's gone and you can't go on...")
  • Delays - This Town's Religion ("This town's religion, I don't get it, I just don't get it")
  • Eagles - The New Kid in Town (various upstart thinkers)
  • Feeder - Just The Way I'm Feeling (anaesthetics?)
  • Franz Ferdinand - Evil and a Heathen (anyone anti-church!)
  • Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (Romans and their lead piping?)
  • Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. (penicillin or NHS)
  • Ian Brown - Can't See Me (germ theory)
  • Jamiroquai - Feels Just Like It Should (general usage!)
  • Jamiroquai - Too Young To Die (general usage)
  • Queen - Another One Bites The Dust (general usage)
  • Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever (19th Century surgery)
  • R.E.M. - Losing My Religion (Renaissance)
  • Scissor Sisters - Comfortably Numb (anaesthetics)

OK so some of those are a bit tenuous, but hey...

Doug :hehe:
