I have been given 4 new lockable display boards and it is Options Evening on Tuesday.

I have created 'Why take GCSE History?' and "What careers can History help me get?" displays.

I am now planning on a humourous History Movie slogans display... this is based on ideas that I got off this site last year. I have attached the posters but can anybody think of any new ones... I will post what I come up with.

I really like these - although doesn't the Vicky Pollard one actually help students fulfil a C grade marking criteria?

I'm trying to think how we could use the Catherine Tate character, so we can get in the phrase "ask me if I'm bovered!"

How about Baldrick and I have a cunning plan?

I must admit I saw the Geog department at my place have fantastic posters getting kids to choose it - Trainspotting - choose Geog, School of Geog, Ice Age etc...wonderful adaptations. (Sods!)))

Great posters -
I have been trying to think of how to make a "CSI"(Vegas - not the others!!) style poster on investigating a source and looking for clues.
Other ideas - Back to the Future - with future crossed out and "past" inserted
A "waking the dead" one
or ... a Borat one "I like History, its nice, yes"- linked to the fact that SBC did a History Degree.

What software are you using to design them Nichola?

I'm using Photoshop to put them together.

The girls have been walking down the corridor giggling to themselves - not sure if they think they are cool or me sad though.

Got an idea for some Simpsons ones now!
