I'm really keen on setting up a Wiki where my Year 13 students can edit and develop their internal assessment research projects online and I can compare various drafts and generally keep an eye on what they are doing.
I set up an account at Wikispaces.com, but have now realised that there is no support for adding footnotes (as, for example, is possible in Wikipedia). This is a pretty major part of their assessment, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a Wiki solution which supports this feature...!
Wikis with support for footnotes?!

Haven't got time to compare them all this morning, but Wikimatrix compares wikis based on the features you specify...

Hi Wikispaces doesn't do footnotes, but you can do anchors and hyperlinks to the anchors in the text (if you open the texteditor). It is clumsy, but you may be able to bodge it...
Doug's wikicomparison page is awesome I just added it to my delicious... lots of info for a Monday morning though!
