My videos are not intended to be educational as such. Its generally me at various sites rabbiting on about what happened there. However someone might see a place they think worth going to and it it to a school trip.

Chamberlain returns from Munich
It has John Cleese as Chamberlain and Peter Cook as a reporter. Would be great as an attention grabber or interpretations of Chamberlain. My yr 10 loved it esp the last bit when the paper blows away!
Apparently its from a longer version called "out takes from History" which I have never heard of. Does anyone have a good copy?
There is a longer version on youtube but the quality isn't as good.

I'll post an updated link here to our project files when we've moved them to the new server.
Kind Regards

There is a page on my old YouTube account with some useful videos.
http://www.youtube.c...C...23B0&page=1
Some of these videos have had 30,000 views in year and pages of comments. The comments are fascinating, usually deeply objectionable but a always a source of discussion in lesson.
I see that some members have YouTube, proxies and even .flv players blocked. A website I use gets around this by downloading and converting to whatever format you wish. No need to convert .flv,

I too have found this, especially my ones on slavery and civil rights, in fact I encouraged my students to read the comments (after I had approved them)

We are uploading our videos to YouTube -- type thehistoryfaculty into the search box -- but the full library of videos can be found on our website (www.thehistoryfaculty.com). That way you'll avoid all the issues with FLV. All the videos can be downloaded with the click of a button in the format of your choice. All are completely free. All are presented by UK academic historians who are experts in the subjects they present.
