Excellent Lesley Ann. Ideal for our "MQOS and the Protestant Reformation" Intermediate level course.

Just a couple of points (and sorry if this appears "picky"!)

Where did the quote come from about Mary seeking revenge after the Riccio killing? I don't recall it?

Maybe a little hard on Bothwell? I'd prefer "Did he rape her?". It's at least open to doubt.

Also the last bit about letting her passion rule her head is to accept the standard verdict. I'd prefer an open verdict ... Did she let her passion rule her politics? Was she betrayed by people around her? (especially half brother James, Earl of Moray).

Cracking effort tho' and great choice of music, sung by another "Queen of Scots" of course!
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out otheir dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”.(T.E. Lawrence)

I'm so grateful for this thread as we also have a youtube ban and I was really fed up not being able to get round it.
The animated BT is fab. Will look at some others tonight.
There is a really good (BBC originally I think) 5 minute sort of reconstruction of the Hiroshima bombing on youtube (no idea how to link to it I'm afraid) also Martin Luther King's I have a dream speech, the whole thing also very useful.
Is there the extract from the Pianist where the Gestapo arrest the family across the road anywhere (I guess not on youtube) - does it exist anywhere else?

Guess I should own up to these two

The Gunpowder Plot

and

The Battle of Hastings

Both quite raw - hope my next ones will be better.....

All points taken and ammended ;) new improved version now online! Was going to ammend it tonight, as some words difficult to read on IWB. Would hate to smear Bothwell's character! Reworded heart/passion/politics statements!
