The Holocaust
Museum of Tolerance
The Simon Wiesenthal Center.  This site offers a wide range of excellent information, images and resources relating to the Holocaust.  The 'Multimedia Learning Center' provides clear and accessible information on WWII whilst the Virtual exhibits offers powerful and thought provoking materials.  An enormous amount to view and make use of - superb.
The Holocaust - from the BBC
First class part of the BBC History website offering detailed information and discussion on the Holocaust.  Many of the materials and pages here are quite text heavy, making them less accessible to all pupils.  Nevertheless these pages are excellent for research.
Belsen Concentration camp
Public Record Office snapshot offering a readily prepared teaching activity about what British soldiers found on their arrival at Belsen Concentration camp in 1945.  Worthwhile lesson activity.
The Holocaust
Text explanation of the holocaust, together with some horrific statistics relating to the percentages of Jewish population that were murdered.  This information from the History Learning site leads onto additional links, some mentioned here.
Spartacus information on the Holocaust
Extensive primary source information on the Holocaust from Spartacus covering Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, Concentration and extermination camps, the guilty, the victims and resistance.  Excellent.
Anne Frank and the Holocaust
Splendid website offering information about a travelling Holocaust exhibition together with online holocaust resources and links to further materials. The teaching resources section offers many opportunities from cross-curricular learning.  Extensive weblinks available.
The Anne Frank House
Superb website from the Netherlands.  The official site of the Anne Frank House organisation that offers detailed but accessible information about Anne Frank, the house and her diary.
Imperial War Museum Holocaust exhibition
Site from the Imperial War Museum that provides information about the Holocaust exhibition.  Whilst much of the site is an encouragement to visit the actual exhibition (which is highly recommended), there are some useful explanations.
