The 1940s history section from the 1940s website.  Offers some very good information including sounds (together with excerpts from Lord Haw Haw), images, articles and recollections.  A fine site to use for research into life in the 1940s.

A Thinkquest site explaining and illustrating the Home Front in America during WWII.  Useful for British students to provide an alternative perspective on events.
