settle class. Go over rules for computer room.
Explain today's task: You are going to test your own
understanding of issues related to the First World War.
Using online assessment, you can identify what you understand,
and develop, improve and learn what you do not. |

Pupils
log onto computer system following school guidelines,
following directions to locate WWI revision lesson.
Direct pupils to click on online lessons, select 'WWI
revision' and click on lesson title. Pupils wait at
objectives screen. Read
through 'objectives' with the class. Explain that it is
vital they attempt each question fully. Those who do not
will not gain anything from the lesson, and will be forced to
repeat it! |

Instruct
pupils to begin lesson (click on 'BEGIN') and follow the
instructions carefully. Check that pupils type answers
fully when they reach the extended questions. Pupils
should be instructed to take notes, and print material (if
school policy allows) to help with their understanding.
Those who complete the exercise should follow the extension
guidelines. |
