In
this lesson you are going to investigate what life was like on the Home
Front in Britain during War War II. Researching the Public Record
Office's Home Front exhibition you will use Word to create a mind map of
your research.
You are
going to use Word's drawing tools to help you create a mind-map.
Your task is to make effective and clear notes about the Home Front
focusing on four areas:

Bombing
|
Women
|
|
Everyday
life
|

|
Have
you really finished?
can
you 'tidy up' your mind map by removing borders from text boxes?
could
you use colour to make the sections stand out?
|
|
If you
have done all this, explore the Home Front exhibition
further. See if you can complete the activities.

What
was life like on the Home Front during World War II?
|
You
should use your mind-map to help you complete an
extended piece of writing - make sure you include an
introduction, a paragraph on each of your topics and a
