Some months ago, I took part in an online history debate with two other schools (one from the UK, one from France). The subject was, from what I can remember, a law that would prevent children from working in textile factories in the 19th century.
I would like to revisit it, however, several internet searches have turned up nothing. I'm quite sure it was hosted on this site. Does anyone know where I can find it?

You are quite right. The debate about Child Labour was hosted on this Forum, but has subsequently been 'removed'. I think it may be possible to put it all backonline again.
Mr Field, the owner of this site, will no doubt respond with an answer when he has seen your question.

Yes - as the project was completed, it was removed from general view. I have put it back on the forum for a short time. Have a look on the main forum homepage or click here - http://www.schoolhistory.co.uk/studentforu...hp?showforum=10
Can you let us know why you need it, as then this might convince us to keep it visible for the entire time?

Thank you for re-posting the debate. I really enjoyed reading it again, and found myself coming up with arguments I should have used when it was live.
As a history enthusiast, I wanted to find a post I made in favor of child labour to show to my history teacher at my new school. In addition to some of the essays I've written on the Reformation to the French Revolution, I wanted to include an exerpt from the debate (which I actually won) as an example of some of my previous work.
I've extracted what I needed from the debate, but I would encourage you to keep it online permanently as I'm sure students studying the subject next year could use it.
Thanks again!
