I'm afraid there are pretty strict limits on the help you are allowed to receive for GCSE coursework, but if you are struggling to find relevant information then the following may be useful.

The history of apartheid in South Africa
The History of South Africa: The Gathering Storm + the next two sections.
Apartheid Legislation in South Africa
links to a number of articles about Apartheid.

I hope that helps a bit, but I don't know exactly what your syllabus covers.

For any other sort of help, please talk to your own teacher.

My school is currently doing South Africa coursework. The links porovided by Mrs F are ideal .. if you need any more help than this please post below. ( mainly posting so my own pupils see this is where to come to on this part of the forum to get help on this coursework.)

What were the Supression of Communism Act and the Internal Security Act? Am I allowed to ask this?!

You can ask, but I'm afraid all we can do is direct you to the information rather than "giving a lesson" on the subject. Sorry.

If you explore the links I gave in my reply to Lucylou a couple of messages back in this thread then I think you should find what you want.

The link on Apartheid Legislation is helpful. <_<

Is it true that its not PC to say whites or blacks, we have to say white people or black people?

This is not an 'official' answer to your question, but I don't like the terms 'whites' and 'blacks' myself. For me it's not a matter of being PC, but rather of respect for all people no matter what the colour of their skin. So .... I'd use 'black people' and 'white people' in the circumstances where you need to identify that.

Try the links from this Google search using the search term "Muldergate scandal"

I don't mean this rudely or unkindly, but couldn't you have tried doing that yourself first?

Ah! Then I am afraid I don't know what information you already have and which sites you have already visited.

If you have explored those hits then I am afraid I don't have any other bright ideas though I do wonder whether you have tried using books about the history of Apartheid (use the index at the back) or even an encyclopedia.

For example there is a reference to the scandal on this page about Vorster on the Wikipedia encyclopedia web site.
