A good site which lists all the Apartheid legislation (= Acts) can be found here:

I'm not an expert on this topic so am not sure about your second question, but I'll have a search and see if I can come up with anything. If I do I'll post again shortly so do check back again.

You may not have noticed, but someone else on the Forum has been asking about this topic recently, so you may find reading this thread useful too.

I can't claim to have spent a long time reserching the question you ask about a law (Act) banning publicity about apartheid, but I would take an educated guess that the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1967 could have been used for those purposes.

Take a look at what the law said and I think you'll see that 'terrorism' could be pretty much anything the government wanted it to be so any anti-apartheid action (including adverse 'publicity') could be interpreted as 'terrorism.'

For example I know of, and have worked with, teachers who left S Africa out of fear of what would happen to them because they had spoken out against the Apartheid Laws .... and that is in addition to the sort of things that happened to members of the ANC and other black activists.
