I should think that these three words are ones your teacher has given you as 'memory joggers' of the things you need to consider when you are studying an historical source (eg a political cartoon, photograph, poster, newspaper extract etc.)
When you are considering whether a source is useful or reliable you need to consider the following:
Nature = what type of source is it? (diary, newspaper article, views of an historian, political poster etc)
Origin = where does it come from? (who wrote it? where and when was it published?)
Purpose = why was it written/drawn etc?
If you think about these things (in relation ot the source you are studying) it will help (together with the content of the source and your own background knowledge of the topic) to make sensible observations and comments about the usefulness and/or reliability of the source.
I hope that helps, but if you have any more questions about this then do post again.
