my history teacher gave me a wordsearch to be handed in for tomorrow and im really stuck on two of the questions :unsure:

Q1} What was the name of the bay where harold landed before the battle of Hastings?

Q2} What was the name of the hill that the Battle Of Hastings took place on?

any help would be brilliant!

Dear Susie

Now you have completed your homework, how about creating a wordsearch for your history teacher to do...baffle them with your skills. Here is a link to creating your very own puzzle....now you will need to think of the key words though. Go on have a go! Puzzlemaker :rolleyes:

I dont think it was that mr fields because we havent heard of those words before but he was quite pleased with my homework i think. :huh:

Ok. No problem. Looking back at your question, it does say where Harold landed. This is a bit strange as Harold didn't land anywhere - it was William who landed, Harold was already in the country.

hi dude mr field im still stuck what are the ansewrs for these qustions

1.the first name of the king of england before the battle of hastings
2.the surname of the king of england before the battle of hastings
3.what was the name of the invadeing army at the battle of hastings
4.what was the ruling system the normans introduced
5.what was the most important person in the system of no.17
6.what people at the botttom of the system of no.17

I have been given this wordsearch aswell!!!! I need some answers preferably in the next 10minutes! This has to be in tomorrow!
Please anyone who can give me some help on the following questions please do:
1. The first name of the King at the beginning on 1066 (6)
2. The name of the first battle in 1066 (8)
3. The second battle of 1066 (8)
5. The surname of the Viking King who claimed the throne (8)
6. The warriors who invaded the North of England in 1066 (7)
7. The first nam of the King of England before the battle of Hastings (6)
9. The first name of the Duke of Normandy (7)
10. The bay where no.9 landed before the Battle of Hastings (8)
19. The people at the bottom of the system of no.17 (Feudal) (8)
20. The day the victor of the battle of hastings was crowned (9)
