We are revising Germany 1919-39 for our GCSEs and are going to have a debate as to whether the Nazis improved the lives of people. I have been asked to research into how the Nazis made life worse for women and businessmen, and was wondering if you could help me with some strong points so that I am able to argue that the Nazis made life worse for these group of people.

I know how women couldn't get the same job oppertunities as men, as the Nazis felt that their place was in the home, and there were strict guidelines on what women should be like e.g have blonde hair, be good cooks, not to smoke etc.

Thank you

Were youths in Germany forced into the Hitler Youth? Was the Hitler youth like a boot camp to train children up for wars when they got older?
