Hi
I am doing a source coursework on 1960s and I don't know how to answer the first question. The first question is what can you learn from source A about the impact of the Beatles in the 1960s? and the source is:

It was 1964, a hot summer's evening, and instead of the rush hour an extraordinary silence and empptiness had descended upon London, on England, on Britain. I came out of the tube station and hurried down to my aunt's flat, where I was staying while I did my Lucie Clayton course in modelling. No one was to be seen by the flower-stall, the newspaper stand. If I sprinted I would get there in time. The nation held its breath because that evening the four Beatles, all the Fab Four, were appearing live on 'Juke Box Jury':John, George and Ringo being cool, hip, smart, lippy, charming and funny. It war very heaven to be alive.

I'va been told that I have to write what the source suggests but I don't what to write. I have to write about 180 words and I am really desperate about it. Can you just tell me what I have to include.

Thanks in advance

I'm very sorry, but since this is a piece of coursework and part of your final exam result we are not allowed to give the type of help you are asking for. This would be a form of cheating.

The only thing I can suggest is that you ask your own teacher for clarification; then they will know how much additional help you have been given.

Yes, I do understand about the problem of being on holiday but I am sure you will understand that I can't/am not allowed to give you the sort of help you really are asking for.

All I will say is that you need to read the source very carefully and then think very hard about what the words imply about the impact of the Beatles. The answer is not in the words themselves but in what you can deduce/infer/figure out from them.

If that doesn't help just move on to the next questions in this coursework piece and leave this first question until after you have gone back to school and can talk to your own teacher again.
