First of all, since you are doing your GCSE coursework, we need to make it clear that we cannot give you too much help as of course your work will count towards your final GCSE grade and will need to be all your own. So please bear this in mind when I give my answer to your question.
What we can do though is give you a number of things to think about and areas to look in.
Here are some questions you may wish to consider as you write your work on opposition to the Nazis:
What was the Nazi position on opposition to their policies / beliefs from other Germans?
What methods did the Nazis use to control / end opposition to their government?
What organisations were set up by the Nazis to control opposition?
What methods were used to control opposition from different groups in Germany?
How far did the Nazis rely on fear and how far did they rely on more "positive" methods?
Who were the people who opposed the Nazis before 1933?
Considering the methods used by the Nazis to control opposition after 1933, how far would it be possible for the groups you mention to go on opposing the Nazis?
What methods could the anti-Nazi forces use to continue opposing the Nazis after 1933?
In addition to these questions, it is perfectly fair to direct you towards websites that can help you with information about this topic. Obviously once you visit these sites, you will need to select the relevant information.
Read through the sections on this BBC website on Nazi Germany for information relevant to your coursework.
Look at this page "Seven Ways to control Germany".
Here is some more information about opposition to the Nazis.
Clearly you will have to do this work for yourself and make decisions about what information is relevant and helpful to you for your coursework. I hope I have steered you in a helpful direction.
Finally you may wish to go this this section of the SchoolHistory site which has a massive set of links for students revising for their GCSE History Exams this summer on Weimar and Nazi Germany. There are lots of links to possibly useful inofrmation there as well.

i gotta produce a presentation on how the Nazi's controlled people by fear and how sucessful repression was... Can anyone give me any examples of how the Nazis used terror to control people and gain support? I need info on stuff like the gestapo and concerntration camps, but the internet has decided it hates me and doesn't want to help me

There is a very useful page on the Nazi Police State here which goes into quite a lot of detail on the information you need.
There is more detailed information about the Gestapo here and about the SS here
If you need more information then this link takes you to a teacher's site for his A Level course. Scroll down to Section B on : 'Terror, Coercion and Control' and you will find links to a great deal more (notes, articles etc) However I think this is all rather more than you need for GCSE.

Lest other readers are confused, another teacher also posted a response to 'howdy', but since the links given were almost identical to the ones I gave he has subsequently deleted his message - thus the list of things to mention which Howdy refers to have now disappeared.

I'm not sure if I am allowed to just dive in and ask for help, seeing as I only registered today!??. But I would be very, very grateful if someone could help me out a bit? …Over the half-term break, I have to explain in at least some detail the below 4 points, regarding how Hitler consolidated power in 1933? or just after I think.
Points:-
1.) Reichstag Fire
2.) (As stupid a it sounds, I have completely forgotten!)
3.) Night of the long knifes
4.) becoming fuehrer
If someone could tell me where I can find some information about the shown points, or even better all of of them (<-- without sounding lazy!) that would be great. Thank-you for reading.

Hi - welcome to the forum. Both your posts were made, but we preview new posts just to keep everything nice and secure for everyone.
As it is half-term you didn't get an immediate response. Apologies!
In terms of Hitler consolidating power you are already on the right track. There are 7 events / issues you might consider:
1 Reichstag Fire - 27 Feb 1933
2 General Election - 5 March 1933
3 Enabling Act - 23 March 1933
4 Gestapo - 26 April 1933
5 Trade Unions banned - 2 May 1933
6 Opposition banned - 14 July 1933
7 Night of the Long Knives - 30 June 1934
To explore and develop this further I would look at Mr JohnDClare's excellent summary:
http://www.johndclar...zi_Germany1.htm
Have a look through that and do post again if you need more assistance

First, Mike, please remember that on this forum people always say please when they ask someone to help, and thank you afterwards.
It's just a politeness thing we like to do.
As for your question, the way I would do this would be to go through making a list of all the people/groups who opposed Hitler. The write a paragraph on each one - they each had a different reason for opposing him.
Then finish with a conclusion which tries to find something they all agreed on.
To asemble your list of opponents, do google seacrhes entering terms such as opposed or opponents and Nazis or Hitler. You'll soon come up with a long list of people.
