Hitler: Who Was President Before Him?

hi im being homeschool and i cant find the name of the german president when hitler was chancellor anywhere!

Until he died in August 1934 the President was Paul von Hindenburg. Immediately after he died Hitler claimed that Hindenburg had intended that he, Hitler, should be President. He took the title 'Fuehrer' and combined the posts of Chancellor, President and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces into one.
