Wow this website is cool!

Ahem..so yeah I can't seem to find any websites which are helpful to revise India 1900-1947. Would anyone know of any good websites which would have some good info on India? It's for the Edexcel History Papers. I mean I've found SO much help on USA 1941-80 but I can't find anything for India!

So if anyone could tell me of any good websites that would be great :D

I suspect you are out of luck as far as websites for your India option are concerned. It's not a very common choice at GCSE and I don't know any teachers with revision materials for this course online.

I can find you websites with material about Indian History, but I think that's probably a waste of your time at this stage of your revision. I'd stick with your textbook and class notes if I were you.

However, I'll have a hunt around and post again if I come up with anything useful. OK?

Later:
Try this: http://www.historyle...900_to_1947.htm
India 1900 - 1947. It's not a revision site or specifically for the Edexcel course but it's from a well respected History teacher's site and looks to be a useful basic summary of the 'facts'.

Key Landmarks in the Indian Freedom Struggle:

Not a 'school' site and written for adults, but looks good if you are 'aiming high'

Thanks! These links are useful! Especially the first one! It would be great though if School History did those interactive diagrams... they're SO helpful! Maybe I'll make some of my own... Hmmmm. Anyway thanks sooo much again for your help! I know it must be hard trying to find websites for India!

Yes, the interactive diagrams are great, aren't they? Mr Field, whose site this is, did the programming for it but he's dependent on other teachers contributing stuff that he doesn't teach himself .

You can easily adopt the idea to 'pen and paper' though and make your own revision diagrams. In fact it's only a hi-tech version of spider diagrams, isn't it?

I do know one teacher who does India but I found out that she is unfortunately off sick and without internet access at home. I did try to find someone for you.

As for websites .... I really would just focus on consolidating your knowledge from what you have already at this stage if I were you.

Good Luck!
