I am pretty clued up with this section in History. Do you know any good websites that I could use to print notes from, that I could take in on the day of the exam?

Thanks :D

You have already asked about a site to print notes from, haven't you and I know you have seen my previous replies.

The site you want is Mr Clare's (again/as always). See here:

Dead basic Revision Crib Sheets for Paper 1 (International Relations) Click on the Word icon for the Grade Range you are aiming for to download a file that you can print off.

Do remember though that you will either have to leave these outside the Exam Room before you go in, or else leave them on the teacher's desk at the front before the exam starts.

:warning: Under NO circumstances have these notes on your person when the exam starts. You could be accused of cheating/intending to cheat and if that happened you would not get a grade for History and quite possibly for ALL your GCSE subjects as well. :warning:

.... and believe me ... it happens!!

Make sure you don't have your mobile on you either.

Sorry if I have already asked these questions, my minds all over the place at the moment. I have 8 exams next week! I won't take the notes into the exam, I want to be able to take History as an A level! Thanks.

That's OK, Asha. I'm sorry if I sounded irritable. I didn't mean to ... and I do understand what you've got to cope with at the moment.

Sometimes the replies are intended as much for other people reading the thread as for the student posting. ..... thus the warning about the notes.

Great to hear you are thinking of doing/intending to do A Level! :)

Your not irritable Mrs, you just want to help us all! :D

I've always enjoyed History since I was a little girl, and if I do well at college, I hope to do a degree in History at uni! :)

Believe me .... I do get irritable at times. (though not in my reply to you)

Great to hear about your love of History. After your GCSEs are all over. I can point you in the direction of some useful threads on the Forum about A Level History courses, relevant work experience, History at Uni., careers for people with History degrees etc. if you wish. Not now though .... it would be a distraction from all your revision. <_<

That would be be brilliant if you could point me in the right direction. Thank you very much! When I have done my first history exam (which is on Friday) I'll post a message somewhere to tell you how I got on! :)

Will do then .... just post in the Student Discussion section asking about useful threads for someone interested in A Level and then a History degree afterwards and I'll hunt the old threads out for you. But as I said ....leave til after your GCSEs are all over.

We are always interested to hear about things like this. Best place to post is Student Discussion so we don't clog this Forum up with 'stuff'. Put a header such as 'Message from Asha'?
