Hi and Welcome to the Forum.
Since you are new you may not realise that all student posts are queued for Teacher Approval. I have deleted your second identical post. Also, I think you are probably based in North America/Canada judging by the time of your message. Do be aware that this site is based in the UK where it is now the middle of the night (I'm a night owl!) and so there will often be quite a delay in approving posts from those in other time zones.
As to your question .... I'm no expert on this topic, but as far as I know you are right (that's if I have understood your rather cryptic message properly) - though I suppose you ought to consider conflicts both before and after Confederation in 1867.
Maybe this weblink will help?

Not sure what you mean about not being a 'legal' question - as far as I know you're not breaking any rules!
I don't know of any sites specifically that might help you I'm afraid, although you should consider that if there are only a few common pictures it may be because there just aren't many pictures of what you want from the time.
If any of the other teachers know of sites that might be useful they'll add them here, but in the mean time could you maybe be a little more specific about what kind of pictures you're looking for?
Good luck with the searching.

I'm not sure what you meant when you said you knew your question was "not legal" here either - unless of course you meant that we say that "we will help, but we won't do your work for you"? When we say that we mean that we will give guidance, but that we won't write model answers and that sort of thing. We will always try to help you find the information you are looking for - particularly when it's clear that you have tried yourself.
Like Mr Stacey, I don't know of any particularly useful sites off the the top of my head, but one generally useful search strategy when looking for images is to use Google Image Search
Just type in your key search terms and away you go!
Eg I have just tried "Nova Scotia" +1860s and got this page of hits.
http://tinyurl.com/q2uje
Some of those look fairly useful and then if you select a useful looking image and go to the site where it's to be found it's very likely that you will find more images.
Also try 'Canada 1860s' (without quote marks) as a Google Image Search term. The hits using that look promising.
I think you just need to be patient and very methodical.
PS. You haven't acknowledged that you have seen that I have replied to the first post you made here and wonder if you may have missed my answer? I point out there that this site is in the UK and therefore we are not really up to speed on things to do with Canadian history.
