why did the french want germany to be treated severely in the peace settlement?

how far did the peace settlement satisfy the victors?

what were the aims of the league of nations?

why did italy and germany become increasingly militaristic in the 1930s?

how far had world peace been threatened by the actions of italy and germany by the end of 1936?

Well, remember we won't simply answer your questions for you, rather try and direct you towards helpful information.

You've asked five massive questions, each of which can be answered with an extensive essay. I would suggest you begin using the Internet to research the Treaty of Versailles.

These sites will help you in your research:
http://www.johndclare.net
http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk

Please don't simply post questions and expect them to be answered. Rather rude and impolite don't you think?

Once you've done your research on those and other sites, do feel free to return and ask from some extra assistance about specific points. That is where we can help!
