Agricultural Enclosure help

right been set an asignment to find out about agricultural enclosure but was told by the teacher that it has nothing to do with agricultural or enclosure`s

please can you HELP!! :unsure:

I think your teacher is just trying to tease you!
Are you studying the Agricultural Revolution - the 18th century?
If you are, he almost certainly means the 'Enclosure Movement'.

Do you remember how, when you did the Middle Ages, you learned that the villagers held their land in strips inthree 'open fields'?
Well, by the 18th century, people had realised that this was a very inefficient way of farming, so they gather all their land into one 'farm', and enclosed all their own land with a fence ... hence 'enclosure'.
