I now know who he is but I need a really interesting fact about him to blow my teacher away
Any ideas?

Is this interesting?

Loads of info here.

In one website, Ben Shechet of Princeton argues that the cats in Rousseau's paintings represent Rousseau himself - isolated, flat, puzzling.

Interesting facts?
That is a hard one because what you think of as 'interesting' is such a personal thing, but for me it has to be the fact that Rousseau is famous for his jungle scenes ... but he had never seen a jungle - he just made them up from visits to the botanical gardens and the zoo!
