Own Knowledge In Certain Gcse Source Questions?

hiya
I have got my GCSE mocks coming up and I am not getting very good grades. At the moment I am doing a practice paper and I am not sure which questions I need to put my own knowledge (OK) into. The first question is an 'explain what you can learn from source x' one and is worth five marks would this need OK? thanks very much for you time.
