Hello, i'm very new to the forum- infact i joined today - so please excuse any mistakes i may have made whilst posting this question :)

I was wondering if anyone would advise me on a sensible time to start revising thoroughly for my Modern World History GCSE exam in the summer. I really really would like to achieve an A* but i have no idea on a sensible month/date to start revising. I have sufficient notes provided by my school and from the internet so i am all prepared to start now. However, is it to early? I personally feel that i am better at short term revision but i'm frightened i may leave it to late.

Thank you very much for your advice.

Rougir08, you are doing well already! Do you have a mock exam? You don't need to start revising now but you can use some of the games on this site to help sharpen your factual knowledge. Has your teacher said anything about revision to you?

Thank you Dr Dennis :)

Yes, we've had our mock exam already in early December (which i achieved an A in so i was very pleased).
My teacher hasn't mentioned anything about revision so far, however there are a lot of subjects that we have yet to cover and teachers in other lessons have asked us to begin reading through areas we find particularly difficult. I have to admit that i find history is one of the more challenging subjects.

I will be trying out the games on this website for definite.
