I genuinely sympathise.
Some subjects require you to remember a large subject-content.
Others require you to demonstrate subject-skills.

History is the only subject which requires you to do BOTH!!!
Dreadful.
Ten times as hard as it was when I was at school.

You have just four things going for you, though:
1. You still have 5 months left. If you put your mind and your determination to it (if your good intentions are not a flash in the pan) then that is still PLENTY time to get your head round it all and do well.

2. At www.johndclare.net (if you do Modern World), there is everything you need to get an A grade, even without your teacher. Even if you are doing SHP, there are websites out there we can direct you to.

3. You have this site, and the teachers who help here, who can guide you through the maze.

4. The form of questions is set, and the questions are fairly guessable, actually.

Therefore:
1. Start by getting your head round the 'overviews' - read up simple overview accounts so that you get an idea of the 'big picture'.
and WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THAT...
2.Devise a first revision sweep (to take you up to a week before the exam), taking one topic a day and thus getting hold of each topic a day at a time.
and finally,
3. Learn the notes for the exam so as to remember them in the last week.

Chin up - there's still time.
And where there's time there's hope.

Get back in touch with us and tell us what Board and which syllabus you are doing.
