We have just finished doing International Co-operation and Conflict 1890-1920's, but I've forgotten some of the technology that was used in WWI !

I can remember :
  • The Dreadnought
  • Gas
  • Barbed Wire
  • Tanks
  • Bombardment

What other types where there ??

Just in case anyone was on the lookout for some stimuli about this question:
Machine guns (Vickers, MG 08, Lewis)
Flame Throwers (not often used)
Trench mortars (could be very effective)
Hand grenades (an old weapon re-invented)
Rifle grenades (important for infantry firepower late in the war)
Aircraft (see the difference between the Taube of 1914 and the Fokker D. VII)
Zeppelins (used to raid London for example)
Heavy bombers (Gothas, Handley Page0/400)
Submarines (not just U-boats)
Radios for communication (unreliable but increasingly useful)

There was lots more, but that gives you a start.
