I need to find information regarding the colonization of New Guinea.
Such as why it was colonized, how the people were treated there, how it was governed, how long it was in the possession of Germany, and how it finally was freed.

I cannot find anything in my textbook and the only information I've found online only briefly mentions New Guinea.

If you have any idea where I could fin information like this please help.
