I'll let others have their say, but in my opinion it's just they way you're being taught it.

History is the sum total of everything that happened to everyone, everywhere - you can't find anything interesting in that, there's something wrong with you.

My advice would be - whatever subject you;re doing in school - to 'read round' it in books and on the web looking for the 'interesting bits'.

That's great!!!
Hope you enjoy it and find you are a successful historian.

After GCSE, there's A-Level, and then on to uni or college - too soon to be making those kind of decisions ... they're just options in the future.
For the moment, concentrate on getting over the first hurdle!
:)

In what ways is WW1 boring?

Read around it: AJP Taylors account is very lively even if I dont agree with all of it. Are you able to get more emotionally involved at all? I remember visiting the graves, and the battlefields and it was just mindblowing...Even just looking at the war paintings at the imperial war museum is fascinating.
