Hey, does anyone have any idea how best to revise for a history knowledge exam?
I normally do really well on the evidence paper and drop down a long way on the knowledge paaper becuase I have no idea how to make everything stick clearly in my mind.
I would really appreicate any ideas because I have mocks soon.
Cheers xx

It is important you know the exam board you are studying for. There is a great deal of good revision advice on the internet, but be careful as ideas for timing etc. might not be the same as your exams.
Have a look at the advice on this page from the excellent JohnDClare site:

You can also find some potentially useful ideas and links at http://www.schoolhis...co.uk/revision/
These - and more specific revision ideas are mentioned in this previous thread:

Just to emphasise that this last link Mr Field mentions has some excellent advice - especially the second of Miss Buxton's posts which really goes a long way to answering your question about 'how to make the facts stick'!
Good Luck. Do let us know how you get on.
