I am having problems because History, Geography, English and German I am becoming very confused regarding essay technique.

I am sure that there are differences as to how to answer the different subjects. Does anyone else take four language-based subjects and have solutions for the problem of each essay being written in a different way?

I would be very grateful if someone knows a clear way of planning for each subject at AS

Geography appears to be to use as many key terms as possible even expanding a little outside the question.

History is the most complicated. Like Geography all points need to be extended.

English literature is alright with novels but I find it very hard to extrapolate information from Keats' Poetry. Answering questions on poetry must be different from answering normal questions on Novels..?

German I have no idea at all what to do. German is my mothertongue so I don't follow a specific course. I would love to know how other people revise for German... And are their any example plans for the Oral that people know?

If anyone can help me on general exam technique for language based subjects I would be very grateful!!! :)

I've moved this topic, Hans, because it's not really a history question.

On writing a History essay, you might read this webpage on how to write an essay and especially this webpage on How to PEE, but from your commenst I feel that you're quite confident with your History essays.

The other questions you ask/issues you raise are things that might well be discussed by fellow students, so I have moved your post to the Student Discussion section of the forum.

Let's hope people have some relevant comments to make!
