I am doing AQA History B, studying options W and Y for Paper 1, A and B for Paper 2, and C and D for Paper 3.
I was wondering what the best revision guides were, in your opinion. Thanks for help, this is a really great site.

Also, please could you write a list of 10 mark questions for Paper 1 Option W, or failing that, just the sort of questions and topics that are likely to be tested in 10 mark questions. Thanks again.

Hi,

I'm doing Edexcel History, and at home I have the 'CGP GCSE History Modern World History' Revision guide. Though it doesn't cover 'USA: A divided Union'.

So I was wondering if you knew a Specific Revision Guide which covers everything under the Edexcel Specifications (including USA - A divided Union)?

Thank you very much for you help.

Prashan

Yes - there is a specific Edexcel Revision book from John Murray which includes USA - A divided Union.

Go to this page - http://www.johndclar...visionbooks.htm

Click on the amazon link on the third book down - Revision for Edexcel: GCSE

Hi
I'm doing the same course and we use the Heinamann Exam success book, which is really great. it is well structured and has exam questions, marked, with comments from examiners. avaliable from amazon.

I always recommend to D-A* students this guide:

Collins Total Revision GCSE Modern World History
by Christopher Culpin, Jayne de Courcy.

This revision guide offers depth and quality needed for students to achieve the very highest GCSE grades. The book covers the whole GCSE History exam paper 1 & 2 and incorporates unique features that help students to revise in short 'revision sessions':
• Bullet points with highlighted phrases aid recall.
• 'Question spotter' panels pinpoint the exam questions.
• 'Check yourself' questions to test understanding;
• 'Extra A*' information boxes for the highest grade;
• Exam practice chapter with detailed guidance on exam technique.

Title: Collins Total Revision" GCSE Modern World History
Authors: Christopher Culpin, Jayne de Courcy
The ISBN: 9780007209026.
Price: £9.99
