Hi, i'm in grade 10 and I have to do an assignment and the instructions say

For this assignment you will be required to write a wartime letter. You will assume that you are a very young man who has just arrived in Europe to fight for Canada in the trenches of the Great War. While remaining inrole, you are to produce a letter being written by you to you loved ones at home in Canada.

Task Requirements:
-Your letter must include at least ten important facts about your topic.
-Your letter should also reflect the life during the war and nt contain any slang or inappropriate terms.
-Your letter should be written completley in role and from the perspective of a soldier at all times.

I am writing my letter as a young man to my mother father and siblings but I don't know how to start, may you please help me!

Your starting points will be this thread on the forum on life in the trenches.
That will give you all the things you might want to mention in your letter.

This webpage has some examples of letters home wirtten by actual soldiers in the trenches.
And this site has a large number of letters written by a soldier called Harry Lamin.

You will be very interested in this article on soldiers' letters home.
