I am studying World War One and need to provide a detailed answer to the following question:
Which alliance was stronger?
I'm inclined to choose the Triple Entente and plan to refer to the large population of Russia and large amount of naval forces of Great Britain but would appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

How might you test which alliance was stronger?
Perhaps if they had a fight?
Or you could add up their area - or their populations - and see whuch was the biggest.
Or you could find out the wealth (Gross National Product) and add them together.
{PS - there's no need to post again and again. When you post, you have to wait until a teacher moderates your questions and answers it.}

I am so sorry - I really cannot apologise enough about the "muli-posting", I'm reasonably new to this forum and I was really confused about whether my article had been posted or not. I shall not make the same mistake in the future!
Thank you very much for your help with the question.

Hey,
Yeah, I'd say that the Triple Entente was stronger too.
Britain (navy), Russia and France VS Germany and Austria-Hungary at the start.
I think you will need some statistics to prove that the Triple Entente was stronger. Maybe Google and read up the number of battleships each country has, the size of army and so on to really get into details. Who did better in the arms race? Like how Britain came up with the Super Dreadnought when Germany challenged Britain's initial Dreadnought by building something simliar.
