HI, i have a teacher who comes from my school and he is a Moderator.

When i go to "The Moderating Team" and click on the PM button next to him, it says I cannot do this.

Can anyone explain why I can't talk to my teach?

The pm function has been disabled - in the interests of internet safety, oth of teachers and pupils.

The obvious ones.
A teacher who enters into private correspondence with a pupil is opening himself/herself up to all kinds of accusations by all kinds of people. Generally, we discourage it.
A pupil who enters into private correspondence with an adult they 'meet' on the internet is quite frankly a fool. Generally, I would advise that you always tell your parents every time you are contacing ANYONE on the internet (because there is always the possibility that that 'teenager' you are writing to is in fact a 40-year-old man pretending to be a teenager).
You must have done lessons at school about safety on the internet.
For that reason, the pm function is disabled - the forum administrators do not want to be the people who allowed a correspondence which later 'went wrong' in some way.
For the same reason, we do not allow pupils or teachers to post personal details - addresses, email address etc. - in forum posts.
