Sounds more like Edexcel, actually, but your dates don't match the syllabus at all.
All I can suggest is that you go to your teacher and find out from him/her.

All the exam boards offer exemplar questions on their websites but - as this is a mock - there is a danger that your teachr won't simply be setting a past paper.
You need to ask him/her specifically: 'Will you just be setting a past paper?'

When you have found out, get back to us and we should be able to direct you to some past papers.

1) why was the cuban missile crisis a turning point in cold war relations?
Its just the 'Results' of the Cuban Missiles Crisis:
1. Khrushchev lost prestige – he had failed. Particularly, China broke from Russia.
2. Kennedy gained prestige. He was seen as the men who faced down the Russians.
3. Both sides had had a fright. They were more careful in future. The two leaders set up a telephone ‘hotline’ to talk directly in a crisis.
4. In 1963, they agreed a Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Cuba was the start of the end of the Cold War.
5. Cuba remained a Communist dictatorship, but America left it alone.

2) who were the vietcong?
This, suprisingly, is a much harder question.
It was Diem who invented the word, as an epithet for the 'Vietnamese Communists' as a whole.
That was also what an American soldier tended to mean when he talked about the Vietcong - anyone who was his enemy.
Some historians, however, seem to distinguish between the home-grown, South Vietnamese guerrilla fighters, who lived and fought in South Vietnam (whom they call the 'Vietcong'), and the more formal army of North Vietnam, which they call the NVA (North Vietnamese Army).
So you just need to go a little careful.
